Caitlyn Jenner on Identity and Self-Realisation

This week’s episode of the Intelligence Squared podcast was recorded in a studio in London’s Soho. We were joined by Caitlyn Jenner, the world’s most famous transgender woman, as she talked with the Guardian’s Jonathan Freedland about US politics, Caitlyn’s fascinating personal journey and the recent revolution in how people think and talk about gender and sexuality.

The most famous transgender woman in the world, Caitlyn Jenner is a bestselling author, television star and, as Bruce Jenner, was a Olympic gold medal-winning decathlete. Previously identifying publicly as male, she made her name and gender change official on September 25th, 2015. From 2015 to 2016, Jenner starred in the reality television series ‘I Am Cait’, which documents her life post-transition and introduces viewers to a diverse group of transgender people.
